My Review:
What I love about this series, is how different the story line, paranormal aspect and characters are. In Focus, we pick up where Flight left off. Allie is beginning her freshman year of college in New Orleans. She is trying to stay true to herself, be there for her friends, and enjoy normal college life. She is still pretty ticked at Levi for what he did in Flight and she is being pretty stubborn about that. She does want him back, but she is so angry and determined to be strong and independent on the issue. Levi is really sorry and wants her back and tries very hard on that front. The problem is, that he is still keeping things from her.
The book flows rather nicely and keeps you turning pages. I read it all in one sitting, and unfortunately didn't start it til late so I was up to the wee hours of the morning because I kept saying, just one more chapter. The end has a bit of a cliffhanger, so I'm anxious for book three...Hopefully that is out soon! I enjoyed getting to know Hailey and Jared better and hope to read more about them further in the series.
Overall, I rate this book 4 stars!
