My Review: Laney, who lives in LA, goes home for a visit with her family, back in the south, and boy does she walk into a load of drama. Not only is Laney dealing with her families drama, but her husband back home is a jerk. She meets a nice young guy who'd love to be more than a friend by Laney loves her husband. Laney finds out her marriage isn't everything she thinks it is. Will she be able to figure out her own issues with the chaos of her family?
I really enjoyed Sparkelicious. I love books set in the South. Libby's writing is really well done, and kept my interest. I really felt an emotional connection to the characters and the situations that they were going through. I think the book was fun in places, but it also had some dark moments. Overall, it was paced well, and I would read more by Libby Floyd.
