Reading Challenges updated

I've gone in and updated my 2011 reading challenges with the books I've read.  I'm doing well in all but the Classic challenge and the 2011 Debut author challenge.  Looks like I have some catching up to do on those.  I'm on book 66 on my 100 book challenge.  I'm trying to get as many books read as I can between now and August 29th when classes start for me again.  Once school starts I have no time for reading for fun.  I've bottomed out under 80 books the last few years and I really want to make it to 100 this year.  Happy Reading!

Summer Giveaway Hop Starts August 1st

I am taking part in the Summergiveaway Hop hosting by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer & Bookhounds.  Please check back on the 1st to enter my giveaway.  Be sure to check out the other blogs hosting giveaways. There are over 300 other blogs giving away prizes.

On My Wishlist

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet.

I've been desperately waiting for the follow up to Sirens, Undercurrent.

Summary from Goodreads:

"Nothing has been normal since Vanessa Sands learned that her sister was murdered by sirens—femme fatales of the watery depths—and that everything she believed about her family was a lie.

Her boyfriend Simon’s been the only person Vanessa feels she can really trust. But now there are some secrets she can’t tell even him. And when Vanessa finds herself in the sights of Parker, Hawthorne Prep’s resident charmer, she needs someone to confide in more than ever. Doubting her relationship with Simon, unsure of Parker’s intentions—and of her own—and terrified by what she’s learned about herself, Vanessa has never felt so alone.

But personal problems must be put aside, because the Winter Harbor sirens are back for revenge. Now, Vanessa must face her past and accept that she is just like her enemies—every bit as alluring, every bit as dangerous.
The eagerly anticipated second novel of the Siren trilogy, Undercurrent is a seductive paranormal romance that will leave you breathless. "

Also, the sequel to Nightshade is about to be released and I can't wait to read it.

Summary from Goodreads:

"When Calla Tor wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, her sworn enemies, she’s certain her days are numbered. But then the Searchers make her an offer—one that gives her the chance to destroy her former masters and save the pack—and the man—she left behind. Is Ren worth the price of her freedom? And will Shay stand by her side no matter what? Now in control of her own destiny, Calla must decide which battles are worth fighting and how many trials true love can endure and still survive."
