The Stand by Stephen King is one of my favorites =) Hunger Games, Pure, Legend, Divergent, The Maze Runner were also at the top of my list!
ReplyDeleteMovie wise, The Stand , book I would say All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin.
ReplyDeleteRafflecopter Name: Dawna Newman
tv show Revolution
ReplyDeletebook Under the Never Sky
My favorite dytopia is The Hunger Game
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Hunger Games but I love a lot of series in this genre.
ReplyDeleteOh, someone had to mention The Stand and now I'm rethinking. That would be my ultimate, total, all-time favorite dystopian. More recently, I really enjoyed Wither. There have been so many, it's hard to find any that stand out, but that one did.
ReplyDeleteI have two favorites - Divergent and Shatter Me.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love The Walking Dead television show LOL Not having read many books in this genre yet, I would have to choose The Hunger Games as a favorite. Thank you for participating in this fun hop.
ReplyDeleteI like Divergent book.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with other about the Stand and another would be the hunger games series
ReplyDeleteMy favorite it The Giver. I read it in school Sophomore year and I still love it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Wither and The Selection.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
My favorite dystopian books are Divergent/Insurgent, Pandemonium, and The Hunger Games.
ReplyDeleteI love the Unwind series by Neal Shusterman. The creepiness and overall realism is just amazing. Not to mention the amazing characters. I also really love how there was a romance, but it was kept in the backseat, like it should. I feel like most dystopians try to put the romance first and the dystopian world is just a means to get the two characters together instead of being the focus. In Unwind, it is the opposite. The world building is amazing and the romance is a small subplot that is fun, but doesn't get overly soppy.
ReplyDeleteI love Battle Royale by Koushun Takami
ReplyDeleteOn tv, I love a show called Revolution, its the aftermath, 15 years later that is, after a blackout, worldwide. Its great, has Billy Burke in it, he is great in this. As for a book, I love The Lost Immortals: When Copper Suns Fall by KaSonndra Leigh. Movie, loved 2012 and Day After Tomorrow. (Now I would not want to LIVE in any of these worlds, lol, maybe Copper Suns Fall if I had too,. lol
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading Starters and it was amazing! Thank you for the chance to win! =)
